Medical Assistant Certification

After graduating from the Medical Assistant degree program at Brown College, you are eligible to take a certification exam that can help give you a more competitive edge in the job market.

The Registered Medical Assistant examination (RMA) is a test offered by the American Medical Technologists (AMT). This type of credential is nationally recognized and while it is optional, it can help enhance employment opportunities.

There are a variety of career opportunities for professionals in the medical assisting field. The duties of a medical assistant can change depending on the type of healthcare facility they are employed in, creating diverse opportunities within the field.
