Game Design and Development Training

Students training for game design career opportunities can hone their skills in the Game Design and Development degree program at Brown College. We’ve developed a hands-on Game Design training experience where students can work on industry-current equipment to create quality interactive games and software.

If you decide to pursue Game Design and Development training at Brown College, you can take part in a number of exciting hands-on training opportunities.

• One of the most intense projects in the Game Design and Development program is a 6-month group video game project. Students split into groups and bring a project from the brainstorming and planning stages all the way through the design and development phase.
• At the end of the Game Design and Development program, students get to develop their own website to show off their talents and explain their niche in the industry. Potential employers can visit the site and review portfolio pieces and game design work.

At Brown College, we don’t believe that Game Design career training begins and ends in the classroom. The goal of each faculty member is to see every student develop his or her talents into industry-relevant skills. Also, after graduation, our career services staff is available to assist alumni in their career search. Members of the career services staff can connect graduates with potential employers, provide guidance on resumes and cover letters, and coach for job interviews.
