Heidi Keller wins award in the recent statewide AIGA design competition

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Heidi Keller—a student in the Visual Communications Bachelors program—won an award in the recent statewide AIGA design competition for her work in the student category.

This contest highlights the most exceptional work being produced in the upper Midwest, and is independently judged by leading design professionals from across the country.

AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) is the recognized industry organization for the graphic arts. AIGA Minnesota is part of a national organization that supports 900 members statewide.

Heidi’s work will be part of the AIGA Minnesota Traveling Design Show 2007 as it travels to prestigious corporate and artistic establishments across central Minnesota. The work is displayed along with a brief explanation that includes name of designer, instructor and college.

Not only is this a wonderful achievement for Heidi, but also Brown College, as it demonstrates the College’s commitment to its students and the design community at-large.
