Approvals and Memberships

The college voluntarily undergoes periodic accrediting evaluations by teams of qualified examiners. These examiners include subject matter experts, specialists in occupational education, and professionals in private college administration.

The college president can provide additional information upon request.

• Brown College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) to award associate degrees and bachelor’s degrees and also by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
• Brown College is registered as a private institution with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, sections 136A.61 to 136A.71. Registration is not an endorsement of the institution. Credits earned at the institution may not transfer to all other institutions.
