The Health Information Technician program at Brown College offers a challenging curriculum that has been designed to help students gain necessary skills in managing patient information and learning privacy procedures for medical settings.

At Brown, students in the HIT program will participate in a supervised externship/internship at a facility where they can prepare to meet the challenges of modern healthcare environments. This exposure to modern healthcare settings offers a means by which to add a relevant and meaningful experience to their resumes.
